About the ‘Moderno’ Door Sets

Each door set in our Moderno range is manufactured to order using high quality components.

The price includes the door and frame as well as a choice of Stainless Steel Pull Handles, a High Security Nightlatch and Fortress Deadlock both by ERA and BS3621 certified, stainless steel security hinges, aluminium mobility threshold strip, and our workshops time to assemble them all together. All that is needed then is to install the door set correctly into the masonry opening and decorate it.

A letter plate is fitted, as an optional extra should you order one, in a satin chrome effect which is a close match to the handles stainless steel.

We also include a tin of Sadolin Extra Durable Clear Coat treatment so you can ensure your products are decorated with a great quality treatment.

This frame has a wooden cill but we also include an Stormguard Slimline aluminium mobility access cill for extra protection from the weather. This cill is suitable for light to moderate weather conditions. For locations that take heavy to severe weather, we would suggest upgrading to a Bristlex threshhold. Please note the Bristlex is not Document M compliant.

The 838mm (33") wide door (or larger) option are fully compliant with Document M building regulations when installed using our guidelines. View our Mobility Access information and guidelines.

For additional security we swing the door on 1½ pair of high quality Stainless Steel hinges with integral Hinge Bolts.

These single door and frame options are designed for use in full structural openings and should be screwed along the full length of the frame leg. These are not suitable for use as flag window or side-light options. Contact us for more info if you require those options.
